Harvesting ‘Tree’ Bee’s Honey

I had the privilege to study the ‘tree’ bees and their honey.

Before I proceed, I would like to make some clarifications.. I have no idea what bee species this is, it looks very similar to the carpenter bee, without the sting, HOWEVER do keep honey and makes their honey from tree sap rather than flower pollen.

Having said that, here is some photographs.

The tree trunk where the ‘tree’ bees stay.. the box on top is where the bees keep their honey (they keep it on top..)

Note the little hole towards the bottom of the lumber? That is the ‘door’ of the bees.. they enter and exit from there..

Malaysia International Wedding & Banquet Fair 2010

Here are more photos taken on the Malaysia International Wedding & Banquet Fair held at Mid Valley Exhibition Centre.

Overall the Malaysia International Wedding & Banquet Fair’s fashion show is great! except the fact that the spot light is not even along the ‘cat walk lane’ and there a few models, that seem to enjoy looking at the floor and closing their eyes and slowly opening it.. after they open their eyes, BOOM.. they turn and walk away..

JEEZ.. so hard to take a good photo nowadays..

Overall the competition is fun, and I learned a lot in this competition.

i-City, the ‘Shopping Mall of Lights’?

OK.. after seeing so many great photographs taken of I-city, and my office is rather near to I-City, decided to go there and have a photoshoot after work.

Overall, it is great! Most of the shopping mall is not open yet, some is.. even my favorite steamboat restaurant opened a branch there, Tasty Pot..
